In2Risk 2025 Peer Reviewers

Peer reviewers will read and score proposals submitted by potential presenters for individual learning sessions at the In2Risk conference.

In2Risk, formerly known as the CPCU Annual Meeting, is an inclusive opportunity for all insurance and risk management professionals to engage in exceptional learning experiences that help advance career and professional development. Peer reviewers assist the In2Risk Committee and staff in shaping a diverse, dynamic and valuable program that reflects diversification of thought and meets the needs of the In2Risk audience.

Reviewers serve a key role, ensuring the most suitable content and extraordinary learning opportunities are selected from the proposals submitted. Through this process, reviewers will read and rank session proposals.

Presenter names will not be visible during the online rating process.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Commit to dedicating up to 4 hours during the two-week period from Monday, March 17 to Monday, March 31, 2025 to read and review submissions
• Familiarize yourself with the call for proposals
• Pre-read all assigned proposals
• Anonymously rate each proposal based on criteria outlined
• Provide open-ended constructive feedback as appropriate
• Agree to abstain from reviewing any proposal you submitted and/or for which you have a conflict of interest (including committee/interest group participation)

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of insurance and risk management experience in different functional areas of the industry
• Current membership in the CPCU Society
• Enthusiasm for creative and innovative approaches to achieve business goals in combination with sufficient experience to adequately determine the feasibility of adopting new practices
