An In2Risk 2025 Replay

Presenters: Jill Kirshman, CPCU, ACAS, and Gary Wang, FCAS, MAAA, CSPA

Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. ET

Join industry leaders from CARFAX and Pinnacle Actuarial as they discuss the impact of vehicle attributes on insurance loss costs, including a review of methods currently in use for vehicle rating and their shortcomings. We will investigate the impacts of vehicle attributes currently in use like horsepower, weight, and drivetrain. Then, we will show the benefits from newer technologies like advanced driver assistance systems and modern driver interfaces. We will propose an approach to vehicle build modeling to gain the most lift over existing vehicle rating tools. Finally, we will provide a roadmap for regulatory approval of rate relativities derived from vehicle build models.

This webinar is a replay of a popular session from In2Risk 2025 in New Orleans from Nov. 3-5. We hope this replay will get you excited about In2Risk 2026 in Las Vegas, Oct. 19-21. Save the date!
