Thank you so much for these recommendations! I will say I went to Rays in the City last night and it was great! Tomorrow definitely will need to try one of your highlights! Wish I had tickets to the concert on the 29th!

That's a beautifully crafted summary of the experiences here in Atlanta, brought to you by my fellow "ATLien," Stephanie Allen.
I'd like to highlight that on April 29th, there will be an exciting mega concert at Mercedes Benz Stadium, conveniently located downtown near the hotel. Kendrick Lamar, who graced the Super Bowl Half-Time Show this year, will be performing that evening. Expect the area to be bustling with fans and concert-goers, so get ready to hear "Not Like Us" all day long! :)
If you're looking for great dining options close to the hotel, which is adjacent to the College Football Hall of Fame, I recommend checking out STATS Brewpub, Der Biergarten, and Twin Smokers BBQ. These venues feature rooftop seating, allowing you to enjoy a meal with a view of the city. For those interested in live jazz and blues music, two fantastic spots not far from downtown are Blind Willie's and St. James Live.
The Atlanta Chapter will have a table set up near registration, where volunteers will share additional recommendations that Stephanie or I might have overlooked. We're excited to extend some true "Southern Hospitality" during your stay!

Hello Brad. As an Atlanta native I am very excited you will be visiting our amazing city. Atlanta hosts many interesting sites and amazing culinary cuisine depending on your palate; however one location we are famous for is The Varsity. This Atlanta institution opened in 1928 boasts the World's Largest Drive-In Restaurant (although it also has a very large dining area as well). With a menu of burgers, hotdogs, fries, onion rings and the famous frosted orange, just let them know "what'll ya have...what'll ya have? The hotel's fine dining restaurant the Sundial on the top floor of the hotel is also a must do when visiting Atlanta, boasting beautiful 360 views of the City. If fine dining is not in the cards, the lounge serves great food and cocktails while gazing at the Atlanta skyline. For Hard Rock Cafe fans there is one within walking distance. Fo anyone from Minnestoa, Skol Brewing Company is a Nordic-themed bar dedicated to the Vikings and right down the street. If your willing to venture a little further, Ponce City Market is a great shopping and dining concept with bars, a food hall, a rtop area with rides, mini-golf, carnival games and a rooftop restaurant.
As for where to go, there is a lot to do in the Atlanta area including the largest aquarium in the US. However, I also have fond memories of The World of Coca-Cola museum which tracks the history of the most loved beverage and has a tasting room where you can sample domestic and international products (some say trying Beverly from Italy is a right of passage). I would also like to highlight Centennial Olympic Park, Martin Luther King National Historic Park (including the King Center his birth home and Ebenezer Church where he was a pastor), the High Museum of Art and the Atlanta History Center.
Please look for the Atlanta table for more culinary and entertainment recommendations based on your preferences.

I'm excited to welcome you all to the In2Leadership 2025 event community here on INteract.
This community includes all attendees of In2Leadership 2025, happening in Atlanta on April 29-30. Our educational program promises to be engaging and impactful: there will be an opening general session on talent and technology, four different sessions presented by faculty of the University of Georgia Terry College of Business Executive Education, three Society volunteer group sessions tailored especially to the needs of today's risk management and insurance leaders, and more. You can learn more about the conference program on the event agenda.
On the Discussion tab of this community, I encourage you to share your excitement, ask questions or inform others about activities happening during the conference. On the Members tab, community members can see and connect with each other. As more attendees register, our community will grow, so please spread the word to friends and colleagues about this event!
If you are ready to get started on your 2025 leadership journey, check out the CPCU Society's leadership and career development resources in the Learning Library, including a preview of key leadership topics with our UGA faculty!
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in Atlanta. It's going to be a great conference!
