In2Risk 2024

Hi, it's Sharon, vice chair of the In2Risk Committee! I'm a member, past president and RMI pro just like you and I'm currently in North Carolina.  It's been a while.

I hope you are as excited as I am to attend In2Risk!   I can't believe it will be here soon. 

When I think about In2Risk, I think about the great opportunities for networking and connecting with people throughout the globe in the insurance industry.  (Yes, I said globe!  We are global!)  It provides an opportunity to gain insight and knowledge from many of our industry's top thought leaders.  In2Risk provides an opportunity for communication and collaboration in all areas of the P&C industry with people in all positions and of all ages.   

• Looking for a mentor?
• Need insight into a particular company you're interested in?
• Looking to change your career path?
• Looking to chat about your current line of business?
• Need assistance on a coverage or claim challenge?
• Looking for a market for a particular risk?
• Seeking a kind ear for a current challenge?
• Wanting to pick someone's brain?
• Looking to expand your network of professionals?

In2Risk is the right venue - whether you have attended in the past or are new to the event.   Having been around the industry for "quite some time", earning my CPCU in 1989 I know a few people.  I am always excited to see friends that I have known for years or those who I have recently met.   I am excited when someone comes up and says, "Thank you for always showing your support and congrats" on my "CPCU Candidates" or "Institutes Chat" Facebook posts.  It's great to meet you in person."    I also enjoy meeting new CPCUs, industry newbies, students and anyone in Insurance and/or Risk Management.   You will usually find me out and about chatting with someone.  I learn from everyone I meet and In2Risk is the place to do that.

In addition, In2Risk provides great professional and educational sessions including Leadership, Agent/Broker, Claims, Underwriting, Risk Management, and Claims.  (I hope you join my sessions 'Women Inspiring Leaders" and "Unleashing Collective Intelligence: Leveraging Your Unique Talents."   I am in awe of my fellow panelists.)

I hope to see you there!   If you're new to In2Risk (or even if you're not), please reach out to chat or with any questions you may have.    I hope you'll look for me at In2Risk.  I would really enjoy seeing you!
