New Orleans has an abundance of amazing antique stores to peruse. I'd focus first on Royal Street and Magazine Street. If you need it or want it, you'll find it there!

Love all of these--as a big thrifter I am sooooo ready!! I have visited once before and have done the WWII museum, AMAZING!! I also did ride a trolley car which I will def do again. I would also suggest this Voodoo interactive tour that we did that was BEYOND my expectations:

Jean-Marcel St. Jacques is a New Orleans-based artist whose tour, "Hoodoo, Voodoo, and a Bottle of Rum," focuses on African-American history and Voodoo culture through the stories of his family.
    About Jean-Marcel St. Jacques
    • Background: He is a self-taught artist and a 12th-generation Louisiana Afro-Creole. His family fled the state in 1970 due to racial oppression, and he returned 16 years later to reconnect with his heritage.
    • Art: St. Jacques creates "wooden quilts" from wood salvaged from his Treme neighborhood home, which was damaged during Hurricane Katrina. His artwork is featured in major collections, including the American Folk Art Museum.
    • Voodoo: As a practicing Medicine Man, he creates masks in the Black Masking Indian tradition of New Orleans.
    • Tours: During his tours, St. Jacques shares personal stories passed down through his family, providing historical context for Black culture in New Orleans. His experiences have been described by participants as honest, intimate, and authentic.
