When:  Feb 7, 2023 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM (ET)

Rowing Together: Aligning Team Activity and Strategic Focus

Presenter: Elizabeth A. Carter, Ph.D., CPCU

Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. ET

Do the members of your team (or the business functions you support) know how their work contributes to the strategic focus and goals of the organization?  Do you struggle (as evidenced by team interactions and/or your engagement scores) trying to create a 'line of sight' of the strategy down to the daily functions of your team?  If you are a leader of directors, supervisors, or entry-level staff, this session will provide you a framework to align the strategies of your organization to the actions and goals of your team from where they sit.  Increase the engagement, collaboration, and performance of any group, regardless of whether they sit 1, 5, or 10 layers deep in the organization.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Utilize a framework to take strategic goal and align it to organizational deliverables (S-S MAP)
Identify examples of Metrics, Analytics and Processes for your alignment that will resonate with the team
Practice the assembly of an S-S MAP for one of your team members
Evaluate the opportunities and challenges in communicating the message
Craft a communication plan that will engage, empower, and focus the team to ‘row together’
